Welcome to SeniorNetHuntington.org

SeniorNet is a volunteer based not-for-profit organization dedicated to the education of those aged 50 years and over in computer and communications technology to enhance their lives. Founded in San Francisco in 1986, SeniorNet today supports more than 250 computer learning centers worldwide and a thriving “virtual community” for seniors at www.seniornet.org

.On April 4, 2008 - SeniorNet celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of its The Computer Lab at The Family Service League’s Don Weidman Computer Learning Center in Huntington. The celebration was attended by many of those people whose support is necessary to keep this project happening for the benefit of seniors and their friends and families.  Thanks to grants we have been able to reequip the lab with computers, a ceiling projector, a laptop, Vista operating system, new software, and network wiring.  Our thanks reach out to the sponors - Susan Berland of the Town of Huntington, Andrew Raia of the NY Assembly, and Jan Cooper of the Suffolk Legislature.
